The TV Tower is one of the most famous landmarks in Berlin and welcomes over 1.2 million visitors every year. It is located at the very heart of the city on the Alexanderplatz.
At 368 metres, it’s the highest building in Germany and the second highest building open to the public in Europe. The observation deck is at a height of 203 metres and includes Berlins highest bar, the “Panorama bar” 203. The revolving restaurant is at a height of 207 metres and turns around its own axis once or twice every hour.
The History of the Berlin TV tower is part of German history: In the sixties the East German government had the TV tower built, not least to demonstrate the strength and efficiency of the socialist party system. Today the tower shapes the skyline of the German capital city - a landmark of the reunited Germany, like the Brandenburg Gate.
On entering the reception you will be personally welcomed and escorted to your window table in the rotating “Sphere” restaurant.
