Chrissi Island Tour

from £0 per person

Chrissi Island is one of the 81 uninhabited isles around the island of Crete. Take the boat from Ierapetra, the southernmost town in Europe, and reach the isle of Chrissi – around a 45 minute journey.

Chrissi Island is situated 8 miles off the south-east coast of Crete, in the Libyan Sea. An hour’s cruise from Ierapetra, one of the most southerly points in Europe, will deliver you to Paradise on Earth.

This amazing island is in fact a huge sand hill, one third of which is covered with a Juniperous forest, protected under Greek and European laws as a preserve for these rare trees.

Only in the Caribbean will you find waters like those off the two beaches of Chrissi Island. The unbelievably clear turquoise waters will entice you in for a dip and, believe us, you won’t want to get out. If you’re after a glowing, golden suntan, this is the perfect place to get it!

You will have several hours for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing and if all that is too much for you, why not head inland and explore the several forest trails and be your very own Robinson Crusoe for a while?

No hero can go without food, however, and there is one small taverna on the island where you can enjoy lunch and a drink (not included in price).Alternatively, you may bring along your own picnic and relax under the shade of the trees. What a hard life it is to be on the beach!

Later, relax and enjoy a cold beer or a chilled glass of wine on the boat while marveling at the scenery and cherishing lovely memories of a wonderful day on your return cruise on the Libyan Sea.

What to bring: Swimming and snorkeling gear, money for food and drinks, camera, sun cream and hat, water (ice cold bottles available on board the boat).

Chrissi Island Fee is not included. Fee is to be paid locally and it is approximate 1€ for adults and children. Please note this is subject to changes from the Greek Government.

Please note there is a minimum of 25 passengers necessary on this trip for it to take place; if minimum numbers are not reach alternative arrangement will be made for youwhile in resort and if not possible a full refund will be organise for you on your return to the UK.
