Jazz is a music genre that originated at the beginning of the 20th century in African American communities in the southern United States from a confluence of African and European music traditions. The range of jazz styles is vast; there is swing, free jazz, Latin jazz, soul jazz, jazz funk and modern creative jazz. Now jazz can be found all over the world and this experience is a great introduction to this genre of music.

Please note, at The Jazz Café, various other music styles can be enjoyed from Funk, Soul and RnB music throughout the year. Please check upon booking which music style will be playing.

• This voucher will allow two people to enjoy an evening of jazz, there will be other people at the venue.

• You're welcome to bring family and friends, however they will need to purchase their tickets on the night.

• There are no fitness requirements.
• The minimum age is 18 years (please note Reading is over 25 years).

• There are no qualifications required.
