FREE TRAVEL WITH THE PARIS PASS

Travelling around Paris is easy with the Paris Pass, which includes a FREE Paris Metro pass valid on most public transport systems around the Paris region.

Not only is all of your travel within Paris zones 1-3 paid for, but you’re also spared the hassle and confusion of working out what ticket you need and how much to pay for it – in French!

The Paris Metro travel card included with your Paris Pass is the Paris Visite pass, which consists of a card and a seperate coupon.

As soon as you get your Paris Visite pass you should write your name on the card and the serial number of the card on the coupon, as well as the planned date of first use.

The card and coupon must be kept together at all times and must be shown together in the case of inspection on the Paris Metro or other Paris transport system.

The Paris Visite pass is activated when you first use it and remains valid for the Paris Pass duration purchased, be it two, four or six days. It is important to note that a ‘day’ is based on a calendar day, so should you use your pass at 4pm on Monday, Monday is counted as day one of your pass usage.

PARIS PASS & PARIS TRAVEL ZONES

Your Paris Pass includes travel within zones 1-3, which covers the entire centre of Paris.

Most of the sights included on the Paris Pass can be reached using the Paris Metro system or by another public transport option: RER, bus, tramway, SNCF Transilien suburban trains, Montmartre funicular railway, Montmartrobus, Noctilien and Optile network buses are covered by your travel pass.
